Photographers
will follow SENPA's Code of Conduct.
The photographer
will retain all copyright rights in all photographic
images produced.
Images will
be provided to receiving organisations under the terms
of a licence agreement (see SENPA Licence Agreement).
In brief this stipulates:
- The receiving organisation will
be granted a licence free of charge for non-commercial
uses of the images donated. This includes, but is
not limited to, newsletters and promotional material,
web sites and other non-income generating uses.
- The licence does not provide for
sole or exclusive use.
- Any images used will clearly credit
the photographer's name and SENPA.
- Any commercial / income-generating
uses or sole uses are not covered by the basic licence
and would require separate negotiation with the photographer
who may choose to charge or waive a fee.
In return for the donation of (a licence
to use) images the partner organisation will grant the
SENPA member access to locations and any expert knowledge
that may aid the photographer in the production of the
photographic work.
The images provided are not for sole
use by any recipient organisation and photographers
are free to use and distribute their images for other
purposes unless agreed otherwise.
Where specific project briefs are issued,
the Association will produce a project briefing sheet
for agreement with the recipient organisation.
Disclaimer
It shall be understood
by all parties that SENPA is a photographic group run
by volunteers and although we insist on adherence to
its aims, objectives and code of conduct the Association
accepts no liability for any of its actions or those
of its members and no responsibility for its members
or any consequential loss or failure to deliver any
agreed objectives.
SENPA does not
enter into financial transactions; all financial transactions
(for example re-imbursement of expenses or licencing
fees for commercial image use) are strictly between
the photographers and the organisations they are working
with.
